Nebraskans unite: you have nothing to lose but your bleak economic and environmental outlook

Johanns has called the issue of “climate change” – by the way, calling global warming climate change is akin to calling murder a life changing experience – a political football. A game he is sure to lose as evidenced by his fall 2001 question to his wife Steph, “Who’s number seven?”

This political football has not been handed off to any rational solutions, but is being hurled downfield by Mike Johanns like a Hail Mary pass to future generations. He is abandoning the triple option of wind, solar, and nuclear power and has instead adopted the west coast offense of energy policies armed solely with futile short term solutions as well as last ditch passes designed to provide the oil and gas companies more windfall profits.
For more on the ill-fated escape plan:
Tom Osborne had the vision to fire Bill Callahan for not getting the job done, let’s hope the people of Nebraska don’t hire Mike Johanns, a man with surefire plan for defeat
